MA, C.C.C. (Canadian Certified Counsellor)
Kristal Chalmers is a Canadian Certified Counsellor, speaker, and author who works with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, and life challenges. She has a particular passion for supporting survivors of spiritual abuse and clergy sexual abuse.
After co-writing a memoir with her mother about her own experience with clergy sexual abuse, Kristal felt called to help others experiencing similar pain. This motivated her to pursue a Master’s degree in Counseling, allowing her to provide professional, trauma-informed support for those affected by institutional harm.
Kristal works with individuals who are healing from spiritual abuse, power imbalances in faith communities, and the lasting effects of anxiety, shame, and lost trust. She also supports individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
Kristal believes that every story deserves to be heard with dignity. Her goal is to help individuals untangle their experiences, rebuild their sense of self, and restore their capacity for safe and meaningful connection.
Kristal has been married to her husband, Greg, for 26 years and is the mother of three grown children. She continues to share her message of hope through speaking, writing, music, and serving in her local church. Her work is guided by a deep belief in dignity, restoration, and hope.
Sessions are currently available on Mondays. Click below to book directly through the online scheduler.
